I just came across an article by Steven Tyler on Copyright. He advised Donald Trump to cease and desist in use of his music in his campaign. He went on to say that he and a group of other well known musicians have started what is essentially a lobbyist group to improve and fix copyright laws for up and coming musicians because they (insert your name here) are feeling the problem the most. It is a commendable endeavor, well past due and I wish them much success. It would be good for everyone involved. So hats off to Steven Tyler.
All musicians have a right to make a decent living off their work. This doesn’t mean everyone gets to be or should be a superstar. Someone mentioned that musicians should at least make the same as a well paid plumber or carpenter and I couldn’t agree more.
