Say goodbye to bad frets! For what ever reason Gibson put flat frets on many guitars over the years. Good or bad not many liked them and we get many to replace with stainless. And what an improvement!
This is a 1996 Les Paul with flat frets. This Studio has a beautiful patina to it. It started out as Alpine White and now the lacquer has aged nicely. 6100 Stainless steel fret wire will be installed.

It's done. A beautiful job and it plays great. The fingerboard had a slight twist to it and it had to be straightened out. The looks of this LP with it's aged lacquer and the way it plays just increased it's value by the cost of the fret job. We'll replace the broken speed knob and send it on it's way!
