This is a 27 year old Washburn model D62SW12. The serial number indicates it was most likely 1983, but Washburn has some discrepancies in their system so it could be older. This was one of Washburn’s flagship guitars back in the day. The owner wants to repair the bridge which has pulled loose, a classic failure. My research shows they are well regarded, so it is worth repairing. There are other issues but we decided to start with the bridge. This guitar has pretty wood binding. The sides and back are Brazilian rosewood and the top is spruce. It is a pretty guitar with a Martin-like neck but needs a bit of TLC, and the bridge is only the first step towards a restoration.
